Chris works in higher education, and is a Safe Zone coordinator and consultant for NYC colleges. Chris works to create policies, advocate for LGBT folks, and provide resources for colleges and universities regarding better practices for trans* inclusion.

Chris Mosier’s Biography & Contact Info:
Chris Mosier is a hall of fame athlete, coach, and educator based in New York City. In June 2015, he made history as the first openly trans man to make a Men’s US National Team, and in 2016 he made his second US National Team.
Chris has been featured in publications including ESPN The Magazine,The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and The Advocate as an out transgender athlete. He is the founder of TransAthlete.com, and Executive Director of GO! Athletes, a national network of current and former LGBTQ student athletes.
Chris has worked in higher education for over 10 years and is a consultant for various colleges and sports leagues, reviewing policies and procedures to help make them more trans* inclusive. He also organizes panels and workshops about LGBTQ inclusion in athletics, and creates bias response protocols for reporting of bias related incidents within sports leagues and schools.
