Learn more about Jillian…
“My name is Jillian Abel and I am entering my senior year at Virginia Commonwealth University. Over my college career I have developed a passion for inclusion, diversity, and social justice. I am currently serving as Vice President for a student run organization known as “SAVES” which stands for Students Advocating Violence Education and Support. Through this club I have been able to gain the skills necessary to be an active bystander, provide emotional support to victims of any type of violence, and create campaigns to make a difference on campus. I am a people person who is eager to make a difference and start a new conversation and outlook on inclusion and diversity! I can’t wait to be a part of the JPHigherEd family.”
